NewtRIA browser compatibility

    Attention: Httpwatch v12.x is not compatible with Newtest solution.

    Compatibility with IE

    Attention: NewtRIA is not compatible with Microsoft Edge browser.

    In the following table, we list possible compatibilities between NewtRia(>v7.6.0R110), HTTPWatch and IE :

    (*): Our NewtRIA plugin is compatible with IE 6 and IE 7 only if HTTPWatch is uninstalled.

    From v7.6.0R110, we offer a new option called NO_HTTPWATCH which will skip the check HTTPWatch plugin step when using Firefox. This option could be activated by the following code

    (*): While using Chrome v52 and later, a popup message "Disable developer mode extensions" will appear at the beginning of a scenario. You will need to add "Cancel" or close this popup with an OCR search or Bitmap search.

    (**): From Chrome v58, you will need to follow the next steps to activate NewtRIA plugin :

    • Execute Chrome by Webrunner :
    C:\Program Files (x86)\ip-label\Newtest\ROBOT\EXE>Webrunner.exe -no_httpwatch -navigator chrome 
    • Insert URL : chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost
    • Change its value to Enabled
    • In the case of a version 7.6.x with both NTBR and Robot installed, you will need to do the same steps but with Webrunner located in NTBR folder
